I purchased these based on my adoration of Chronicle's "Pretty Polaroids Notecards". When I opened the box and viewed the images selected, I was shocked by how underwhelmed I was. If I had been able to view the complete set at my local stationary store, I would NOT have purchased it. Don't get me wrong - I understand the historical significance of the shots being developed on Kodachrome and the day they were developed. However, the amount of stinkers (9) vs. decent photos (11) in this pack is not worth me purchasing them again or recommending them to anyone else.If you want motivation to design your own photography based note cards due to thinking "I can do this better," then invest in this pack. If you want to buy note cards that you would actually use and get complimented on, consider I am a fan of most everything Chronicle Books produces, but sadly, this collection is a huge MISS. Many of the images don't make much sense and are not really even artistic. A close up of a clothespin clipped to part of a sheet on a line, Very dark shot of parts of a few bicycles. A fence, maybe? Can't even tell what it is. A piece of wood. Kind of a waste. Go with the Polaroid box for better images.Nice note cards, good for small notes.These are really nice little note cards. The quality of the images is very good and there is a nice variety. Keep in mind they are pretty small so these are best used for quick little notes.The pictures on these take up only about 2/3rds of the front of the notecards. I didn't realize that they're framed by such a large border. It makes some of the images difficult to see. Otherwise, they're great. They're on sturdy paper and the images are lovely and varied.Georgeous! Never have I gotten such a positive response to my Thank Yous. These cool cards actually will illicit a THANK YOU for your thank you! They also make a great gift too!I love these cards - there's a romantic sensibility at work here, and a nostalgia factor too, that I found very appealing. I've ordered 3 or 4 boxes (some to give as gifts).Retro notes fit every occasion. So cute! Takes me back to my childhood and old polaroid photo memories.
