This dress was perfect for my maternity pictures. I ordered the pink color and the red. The pink is not baby pink, it is kind of a "dusty" rosy pink. It's very pretty in person and much more attractive than "baby pink". It's the kind of color that will be flattering on any skin tone.The dress itself is "one size fits most". It easily fit me at the end of my pregnancy when I had my pictures taken. I had no issues with the dress slipping. It was a perfect fit. The seam is down the back, so you have a smooth front and sides of the dress. The dress is on the thin side and you can see everything through it like your nipples, belly button, and underwear lines. I highly recommend nipple covers and maternity shape wear that comes up under the bust so you get a smooth effect with this dress.The only thing I wish is that the train was a bit longer for more of a dramatic look. I'm of average height and the train didn't quite fan out around me like in the display pictures.So I ordered this dress in a panic at the last minute after my $300 dress seemed like it wasn’t going to be in in time for my baby shower. THANK GOD I did. Came in about 2 days which was just in time. I was skeptical about it but it was honestly beautiful on and I received TONS of compliments. It was perfect. It fits like a glove and I was extremely pleased with it. I’m 5’10” and was 35wks. Was weighing about 175lbs. I was nervous about my undergarments showing bc the dress is rather thin but I wore black panties and bra and none of it could be seen. However, it is EXTREMELY long. I’m rather tall and I was still tripping over it and needing assistance walking to make sure I didn’t fall, but my husband, friends, and family were eagerly there to grab it so was no problem. It drug the floor so definitely was a one time wear for me which I was fine with. The only other thing is I had to send it to the cleaners the morning before my shower bc it was really wrinkled and I was too afraid to do anything to it myself. I highly recommend this dress for this price and I’m so glad I purchased it.I LOVED it and received tons of compliments! The only cons are that it’s EXTREMELY see through and LONG. I’m 5’0 208lbs and was still comfortable in it (stretch factor) but the whole night had to hold the tail and arms up because people kept stepping on it. If you wear a nude bra and a nude pair of undies ( I used this body shaper made for pregnant people) you should be good. Make sure they’re seamless because you will see lines as the dress is EXTREMELY thin as well. It is also VERY static-y. It attracts everything to it. The arm trail is just as long or maybe even longer than the dress tail.Needed the dress ASAP because the original plan I had for my dress fell thru. I ordered on Friday and photoshoot was Sunday afternoon. If delivered Sunday morning. Dress definitely worked out. A little big, but I’m also petite but it def got the job done. Happy I ordered. My fav part of the dress is the bottom. Very elegant. With nice hair / makeup and bomb earrings it came together.The color was a richer red than expected. Not a bad choiceIt was perfect! I'm tall and needed a dress that was long enough to look magical in my pics. I'm super picky about the items I buy as I read review after review to make sure I'm getting what I want. I was worried it wouldn't fit my bump but it was a soft and stretchy material. It was so comfy. I highly recommend this dress for a maternity shoot!The dress was well sewn and what I expected but I'm rating it a 3 star because I wish I'd spent more and gotten a better dress altogether. I struggled with the top though. My normal DDs became GGs by 33 weeks. Even with a good bra, I struggled making the top look right. I wish the bust would have been a bit more structured to give more support but if you're not super busty then you shouldn't have a problem so long as you wear a good strapless bra. We shot inside and didn't notice any transparency in the material. Overall it looked good in pictures.Fit perfect (hug & stretch wise). I am short, like to say 5'1" so I had the dress altered. sleeves shortened so that they still flowed but no longer dragged the floor & we also tacked the extra fabric up under the "mermaid" part of the dress (to add volume/pouf) RATHER than just cutting it off. By the end of my pregnancy I got up to about 215lbs so I ordered the XLWe purchased the dress super last minute. It turned out great, and my daughter looked absolutely beautiful in the dress. She used the dress for her maternity photos. The only thing was the material was super thin, so had to make sure she wore something underneath which isn't too comfortable at 36 weeks pregnant. But again, the dress worked out and she looked stunning!
