When it comes to photography books - there is only one name to ever remember and that is Jeff Wignall. When you look at one of Jeff's beautiful, touchable, informative, artistically designer books -- packed with information for his lifetime as a genius in the art of photography -- you will cherish the books. The photos are gorgeous (framable, even!) and no matter your level, you will learn so much. Jeff Wignall is one of those teachers of art with the gift of being able to explain what you need to know, quite accessibly. And this stories are very open and personal to him -- he does not hold back sharing himself with you. That makes Jeff Wignall the consummate teacher. I have many of his books and all of them have made me a better photographer. And I will never use a phone to take photos when I have my Panasonic Lumix LX5 with me -- the quality cannot be compared. My phone's camera is dismal compared to a real quality digital camera -- Jeff's books are for cameras and people who want to use digital cameras. That would be me!
