The Rokinon 16mm lens features a remarkable 83.1-Degrees angle of view on APS-C cameras and 67.6-Degrees on 4/3 cameras. The lens is available for the following mounts: Canon EOS, Nikon, Sony Alpha, Pentax, Canon M, Sony E-Mount, Micro 4/3, Fuji X and Samsung NX. The Nikon mount features a built-in AE chip for auto aperture, exposure and metering with your camera.

I bought this lens to replace the disappointing SEL16F28 Sony 16mm lens for my Sony A6000. This lens is manual focus (you should manually focus landscape shots anyway). The NEX cameras and A7's have focus peaking, so manual focus is easy and accurate.Wide angle lenses are prone to chromatic aberration (CA) because they bend the incoming light at such a sharp angle. I tried to induce CA with this lens. I took test shots of a scene with a white placemat on a dark table, white appliances, and a bright dining room lamp. Wide open (f/2!) if you pixel peep, there is just a hint of CA. Stopped down to f/11, that goes away. I took it outside and took some hyperfocal shots. A tuft of grass at my feet was sharp, a tree in the distance was sharp, and so was everything in between.Conclusion: This is a nice sharp lens with very good color correction. It's *amazing* at this price point. Wow.
